Where I grew up in Germany, there were several 2-door convertible conversions driving around, and the local MB dealer at one point had a 2-door coupe for sale.

I believe the 'verts were done by Schulz Tuning; not sure about the coupe.

This was in the mid-90s when I was much, much younger.
