Car looks phenomenal. I have an 86 2.3-16 and have a set of the same wheels sitting in boxes. Do you have any rubbing with the 235? Mine is lowered with similar stance and was considering 215/49/17 or 225/40/17 but was worried the 225 would rub.

Any help would be much appreciated!! Also, where did you find the evo 1 front lip?

225-40-17 does not exist unless you want a set of Hoosier slicks.

235-40-17 will fit the rear but the front will rub. You can squeeze 235-40 up front with some creative trickery. Wheel should be 8” wide ET 37/38max and front fender spacers. Caster should be set to have the wheel sit dead center of the wheel arch.
