Update:
Cam input is working along with the variable intake camshaft. Currently set to advance the cam from about 75% to 100% throttle between 3000 and 5200 RPM. MS3 allows you to choose the independent variables which determine the position of the VVT. For example it could be based off of direct TPS readings or the MAP sensor reading. I haven't wired up the resonating intake flap yet which I'm very much looking forward to but it will be configured in a similar manner. I'll have to get it on a dyno come springtime.
I'm struggling with a sync loss error at the moment which keeps the engine from revving over 5600. It's like the blue ballz of the car world. Just so close to finishing. And its right where the power comes in strong.
Also, I still don't have a working tach. I'm trying to wire a relay coil off of the MS3X tach output as our tachs draw from the coil - and the MS3 only puts out a 12v signal.
Much sideways in the rain, gonna need an LSD for sure... gotta start saving up again to fund that. I was able to wire up the temperature guage. There's a separate sensor for that on the M104 thermostat so I spliced in the M103 factory wire for the guage to that sensor. Only guage not working is the tach.
