I took some pictures of my new updated console on my 86' 8v. I got the cubby from the dealer. Its still coming along

I went to the junk yard yesterday and saw this. At first from far I thought it was an old school firebird and though why would anybody junk this! I got closer and saw this. it has a toyota 20R

I took the lady out to dinner and we also bought a replacement rake for the yard. I had to talk her out of the gas powered leaf blower, as leaf season is ending soon and I promised to add the money to her Bday/Christmas fund (she's one of those unlucky dec bday types)

Went drifting...ahh...I mean conservative driving, in the 20cm of snow we just got here in the Sault. Then when I got back; after throwing numerous logs into the wood stove in my garage to take some of the chill off; mounted a set of AMG style lower fog/driving lights into my 190. I still need to wire them up, but even turned off they look sick. All-in-all, I think a pretty productive day!

and the auto is nice, but i dont care for the auto tranny on the 201...


its kickdown isnt sensitive enough, and first gear is too short unless you gun it.

it doesnt like to shift down a gear when getting on the freeway at speeds over 35 and i dont like using the kickdown switch cuz it shoots the rpms up too high. the control of a stick would be nice
