    Just bought a jdm 1987 16v. 98000km. Amg bits!!

I am super excited since I bought this 190. It is my 3rd 190 so far but first 16v.
I first tought it was in really bad shape mechanically but it is not that bad after a couple quick fixes.
I plan to restore it completely with complete respray.
    Here are some pics:

Car is so dirty it looks like it never got washed in 10 years.
I am in Canada and the car was imported here 10 years ago.
NO rust anywhere. Not even the coil springs.
These cars were made from undestructinium.

If you plan on keeping the factory fan get a shroud, with out the fan shroud the cooling system is practically useless.

If you convert to a EFK the fan sits right behind the radiator and it will work perfectly.

Very nice! Will look great once all cleaned up. I used to import cars from Japan and was always very impressed with the lack of rust on them.

Hey you told me you were looking for door cards. I just realized you have the euro cloth interior.... i have 2 rear ones in decent shape from one of the cars i parted out. the front ones were total junk tho. Had heavy damage. Hit me up this week-end and i'll send you some pictures and i can bring them along next week.

Ok thanks. I have the shroud in the trunk. I will put it back, yes.

Let’s have a meet at Tremblant next summer. I’m planning to enter my 16v racecar in the Summer Classic.

Nice car, how did you get it? I worked at Costco a few years ago and saw this old lady driving around in a euro 16v. I got to talk to her one time and she was the original owner in Germany. She had the car shipped here to California I couldn't talk her into selling it to me.
