got pulled over for "no license plate lights" and "dim tail lights".

Turns out they were just a little dusty LOL.

tail lights i can't do anything about, they were not dirty and the bulbs were good, so that's just the way it is. now to get the afternoon from work to go have it signed off.

Poor Dimples, I run this car pretty hard. Check out what happened to the flexdisk with the subframe breaks.

Here's the cracks in the subframe. The car has been pulling on the corners of the front subframe plane for a while, I've had to weld it here a few times as you can see.

But here is the new and interesting damage, looks like it is this area that likes to flex under torque and pull on those corners, it finally let go itself. The crack is clear from the diff mount across the whole vertical space of the front plane.

Here's the newly pulled subframe, from a late model 2.6.

    Tada!

Beatbox bestowed the toe correction fixture to me, very grateful.

...but before the toe stuff, reinforcements!

Ground down the edge on the diff mount area to get a nice triangle going on.

Planned the gusset here on some paper, gusset holes start first to allow the tank evap line to go through.

Spaced the gussets here on the short side to still have access to the exhaust hanger.

Let's see you try to flex now, bitch!

Stay tuned for rear plane reinforcements!

Are you going to fit a doubling plate to the diff hat side or will you use an x style brace?
