Usually a window net attached to the roll cage is required in these cases, but not always. I'm not sure what the drag trade-off would be with a roof scoop versus windows open. It will certainly look bad-ass though!

Thanks for the head's up on the Harwood scoop, I gotta check the prices and dimensions, it looks like it might work. If not, I'll have to make one eventually with the carbon fiber and polyester resin, hopefully this year!

Oh yeah, and today I have done nothing. Damn customers are dilly-dallying on their 2010 racing preparations and leaving shit to the last minute for the first races at the beginning of February. Tomorrow "

Flew some night formation and scared the crap out of myself once or twice......then started up for a second hop and ended up sitting there freezing my ass off in the jet with the canopy open trying to help the maintenance/line handlers troubleshoot a problem.....ended up having to shut down and cancel the flight so I almost died of cold for nothing. It was like 19 degrees when I got back out to my car afterwards......love the heated seats in the '43 though ::

I woke up and sat in front of my computer from 10am to 2pm. Drained my sisters transmission fluid and realized i have the wrong replacement oil and left it in the driveway. Played DF2 until i had to go to work at costco from 5 to 10pm. Now i'm here 11pm to 2am in front of a computer

Sitting at a desk detailing a railing for a lab building in Minnesota. Did have a fun 1/2 hour drive into work with another TL and a new A6. I take all country roads in so it's easy to shoot up to 100. To bad we have another 9 inches of snow on the way tomorrow.

needless to say, the 65s have waaaay more power than anyone could ever need.

made mince-meat of several SRT-8s and various other american buckets along the way.

averages 18.9MPG at an average speed of 81mph

not bad for a 6 liter biturbo gt car...
