I noticed that, and a good find for $30 regardless of the condition. I have wanted a burl set for awhile.

The condition is not to shabby. Its good enough for now. Next is rewiring the new style switches. I saw the cubby on ebay for some ridiculous price $90? I think, and saying that they were no longer available from MB. I though pfft thats a bunch of BS. Checked at work and one week later I had my new cubby for about $25.

I'm writing a thesis paper on using algae for fuel, I'm trying to find research on genetically engineered algae strains capable of producing more usable oil than darwin style algae.

So what I did yesterday was put a deposit down on Newbenz's evo 2 kit! and order a new window sticker off ebay for ten dollars, and washed my wheels and got depressed because I don't have evo 1 or 2 wheels on my 16v.

Sounds cool ship, I have read a little about it. I read in one paper that some of the algae can be up to 85% by weight natural oils and that they propose that they would be grown in large shallow pools (not to deep as light doesn't pass through). The mass would then be dried and the oils extracted and refined. Let me know what you find as I am always interested in this kind of stuff, and always on the rev avoiding my studies!

And as a total non-sequiter I picked up my evo 1 wheels for $300 and they came with tires in average condition (too large mind you) that I will sell to help offest that cost further.

p.s. I studied the majority of the day, periodically going downstairs to look at the reason I am studying in the first place!

The more research I do, the more I find people suggesting algae farms made out of acres and acres of clear tubing wih nutrient rich water flowing constantly.
The tubing doubles over on itself several times per "unit" so you could effectively place miles of tubing on a very small area.

I have no idea how they would cost effectively harvest the algae from all those tubes though?

And I've taken to studying in the garage on my workbench so I can see my 16v at all times, but more often than not I find myself on the rev.
