    Free rubber? Awesome!
That reminds me, I need to sell my spare set of tyres. They're too big and scrub a bit. They're 225/50/16.

runners look great !! but where are the injectors ??

I also test fitted mine before pulling the stock engine the other day. Similar design but.. yeah, the one i made wasn't meant to be used at stock RPM range or even a daily driver... plenum has 11L. Apparently that engines get a big power increase when plenum is over 8x the engine capacity... but that would be pretty much impossible here, with a 19L+ plenum

Thanks! The injectors/fuel rail is actually mounted under the runners. In the picture you can just make them out.

I'm afraid that the placement of these is not very optimal... yon dont want the injectors to spray straight on the wall of the runners. Fuel will tend to puddle up in the runners instead of spreading in the air. Unless these are injectors spraying from the sides or at an angle?

Thinking about it, cant be much worst than a carburettor... but still not as precise as it should be.

They are spraying at an angle. I will pull off the intake and post a few pictures.

Here is a different picture that shows the angle of the injectors a little better. I got home late and was not able to actually pull the plenum to take some better pictures. This plenum has been floating around for awhile now. I bought it from AMGC last year for a good price.

I think Benzworld member 'California Jay' did the fab work on it. Here is his original build thread from 06' on Benzworld.

My plan is to get the EFI conversion dialed in learning as much as possible along the way before adding forced induction to the scenario. If I can end up with 300hp. I'll be happy.

i mean the injector is aiming towards the runner wall... you usually want the injector to aim down to the valves. With boost it might not be as problematic as NA tho... intake temperature should be higher and more turbulence from the airflow to evaporate the fuel.

Yup, that's a good idea... but you will most likely end up with more than 300 hp ... guys should see that kind of power with boosted 8vlv engines if we compare engine specs with the volvo crowd.

Can you double clutch to get it into the gears? If you put it in reverse or third with the engine off do they work?

This car was on the auction for a while. I figured you guys might get a kick out of it... 25k original miles on a 23 year old car!

The dealer is getting desperate though. Last month they had the price at $9000.

EDIT: What the...190rev completely messed up my attachment! BRB, fixing it...

I went to a garage to deliver stuffs and the garage owner just took out original KE-Jet and fit with ITB kit

Interesting thing is he is using Toyota components to start the engine, ECU injectors crank sensor ignition system

Will try to see if he can share and make a simple kit for us

    ^Nice!

Today I began clearing out the garage so I can run wires to a permanent 220v outlet for my TIG welder, then I can stop hooking wires to the breaker box temporarily. And now I'm off to search for a quality all metal table for welding..
I've been getting hooked up with alot of free welding gear from family, friends, and my LWS shop, so hopefully the table search goes well..

I need to start running beads again to warm up for this exhaust work..

Most likely. It may be altered a little once I have the actual turbo and can get its dimensions and make absolutely sure it will all fit, but the general shape will be about the same.

I'll definitely be showing it off once I get started..
Right now I'm still learning my way around all the little specifics on my welder. It has quite a bit of adjustability, so some of it can be a bit overwhelming. Luckily most of it is for AC welding anyway. And once I get better I will be able to use these settings to really clean up my welds..

Ha, that reminds me I gotta get some oil and change it on my 8v. :P

I've been messing around with motorbikes and motorized bicycles for fun lately.

    Here's a bicycle I'm working on getting on the road this weekend;

I'll be selling parts for motorbikes soon, and once my shop is full tilt, MB performance parts too the stuff that crosses over the 201, 124, 129 chassis platforms, and 190e racing stuff.
