    Thanks JoeB!

Looks like the PS pump wore into it. Is this poor installation or are my motor mounts pooched?

Should be well clear of the belt - within the normal 2.6 clearances reasoning.
Everything in the front is tight, but there should be plenty of clearance.
I would have thought the engine mounts dropping would have given you a little more clearance, but if it's kicking over on throttle, then the mount must be totally shagged. I used the corteco mounts from the 124 3.6 in my 16v and it tightened up immensely, but the engine sat higher.

the DTM mounts are a little too stiff. nice though, makes the throttle feel like a scalpel.

    1. Put in new sunroof draft deflector.
    2. New coolant hoses.
    3. Charged A/C with r152a. This was after recently installing new evap, compressor, and dryer.
    4. Contemplated how to improve the audio system.

Drove my engine swapped, turbocharged, open-source engine management powered Miata on a 900 mile round trip (over several days). Did a transmission swap at the half-way point.

    that's interesting -
the last om606 I weighed for shipping was 214.5kg dry - complete, incl turbo.
so there's over 150kg in all the bolt on/in bits

and the 16v feels about the same with the transmission bolted up to it

Just got possession of a rental garage. Took me 5 months to find someone who didn't care about mechanical work being done. It's full of old mopar stuff from the previous tenants which I'll have to liquidate. Excited to move my tools over and get the 16v over too. Hopefully the pace of both projects will pick up!

Nice size garage with room to move around!

After 5 years for search, bought a set of Carlsson 1/6, dropped them off at the shope today to have them stripped to bare, so I can refinish the set. My first set of rims I've ever bought for MB were 1/6 for w202, directly from Tirerack in 2001, along with Carlsson suspension, they were official distributor at that time... Almost like going back in time!

    Regards,
    D
